Janine’s Personal Blog – October 2016
Welcome Hublets! Goodbye October! It’s time for reflection on the month just passed and to set my intentions for November, so here is my personal blog for October 2016.
The dark nights are certainly drawing in, leaves falling and we have even started talking about Christmas in our household! October was a challenging month for me. Change in personal circumstances has meant it has been a tough financial month. Like many families feeling the pinch, we had to cut back on a few things and watch every penny.
I have found that by spending too much time worrying about money and how you are going to get by, you forget to remain focused and present. It is also unnecessary worry about something that hasn’t happened yet. Some common sense and planning was needed. My mantra for this month from Maya Angelou –
October is also a month of celebrations – all the more reason to be present and thankful! It was Daniel’s birthday and Ian’s birthday so we celebrated and I am thankful they are both in my life! I also made the mistake of letting Daniel have 4 friends to sleepover. 5 boys turned my front room into a Sumo wrestling crash pit. Carnage, but I loved sitting in the kitchen (where I was banished) and listening to the laughter. This month Abi continued her driving lessons, fingers crossed my taxi duties may soon be coming to an end.
My intentions for November:
- plan our new product launch for the FBH
- plan my own new workshops for 2017
- look after me – fitness – wellbeing – lifestyle
- more family time
How was your October? Did you achieve all you set out to achieve?
Live, love and laugh
